This easy and quick fun-fold card using Designer Series Paper (DSP) from Stampin’ Up! turned out gorgeous. I have used the Light & Airy DSP that is a Free Product with a $50 purchase in the Sale-a-Bration catalog. This beautiful paper is covered with a variety of birds, greenery and flowers; looks like spring is on the way.
Measurements:
- Lost Lagoon card stock 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
- Flight & Airy DSP 5 1/4″ x 12″
- Pretty Peacock card stock 3″ x 5 1/2″
- Basic White card stock 2 1/4″ x 4 1/2″, 3 3/4″ x 5″
With the 12″ side (of the DSP) at the top, score at 2″, 4″, 6″, and 8″. Fold accordion style along all the score lines and burnish with a bone folder. Place adhesive on the back side of the largest section of folded DSP, adhere to the 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ card base.
Using the Stylish Shapes dies, cut 2 circles with the 2nd largest circle die in Pretty Peacock card stock. Then cut 2 circles using the next size smaller die in Basic White card stock. Using one of the Elegant Borders Dies (Online Exclusive), die cut the edge of the 3 3/4″ x 5″ Basic White card stock. Stamp the greetings onto the 2 Basic White circles.
Adhere the 2 Pretty Peacock circles using Dimensionals on the left side of the circles. Then adhere the basic white die cut (border) piece to the inside of the card. Once the background circles are in place, adhere the white circles with the greetings to the Pretty Peacock circles with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I “fussy cut” a few coordinating birds from the DSP and adhered them to the front circle and the inside basic white panel. I embellished my card with the Blooming Pearls witch coordinated beautifully.
This card is super quick and easy. Change your greetings for whatever occasion you need. You could also change the shape which hold your greetings. I’ve got a few more cards to show you using the same layout. Let me know what you think of these cards. Very easy to make!
Product ListThanks for dropping by today. I hope you like this card and will give it a try. It’s quick, easy and always makes a WOW statement, no matter which greeting or DSP you use! Let me know what you think.
