Using this template makes for a quick and easy card; the results are stunning! What makes this card so stunning is the use of the new Stampin’ Up! Designer Series Paper called Wildflower Birthday from the new Mini Catalog.
All 3 cards:
- I used the same Designer Series Paper, Wildflower Birthday
- Each card features the 12″ x 12″ Wildflower Birthday DSP
- Stamp a greeting on the inside of the card and use strips of leftover DSP to decorate the inside
- All supplies to make these cards are shown at the bottom of this post – click any product photo to shop in my Stampin’ Up! online store
- Don’t forget to add embellishments!
Idea #1
- Cut the Designer Series Paper and adhere to the front of the card base
- Adhere both the Pretty in Pink and the Peach Pie squares at different angles near the center of the card
- Stamp the greeting in Blueberry Bushel Ink
- Angle cut the left end of the greeting
- Adhere the greeting using Dimensionals across the center between the 2 squares
Idea #2
- Cut the Basic White background 1/8″ bigger than the Designer Series Paper
- Adhere the DSP to the Basic White
- Adhere this to the front of the card base
- Adhere both Pretty in Pink and the Peach Pie squares at different angles near the center of the card
- Stamp the greeting in Old Olive Ink
- Angle cut the left end of the greeting
- Adhere the greeting using Dimensionals across the center between the 2 squares
Idea #3
- Cut the Gold Foil background the original size but cut the DSP 1/8″ smaller
- Adhere the DSP to the Gold Foil
- Adhere this to the front of the card base
- Cut the squares of Pretty in Pink and the Peach Pie 1/8″ smaller
- Cut the Gold Foil at the original size
- Place both the Pretty in Pink and the Peach Pie squares in the Distressed Tile Embossing Folder and run through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine
- Adhere both the Pretty in Pink and the Peach Pie squares to the Gold Foil
- Adhere at different angles near the center of the card
- Stamp the greeting in Blueberry Bushel Ink
- Angle cut the left end of the greeting
- Adhere the greeting using Dimensionals across the center between the 2 squares

- Blueberry Bushel/Soft Sea Foam 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ – card base
- Basic White
- 1/2″ x 3-1/2″
- 4″ x 5-1/4″
- Pretty in Pink 1-5/8″ x 1-5/8″
- Peach Pie 1-5/8″ x 1-5/8″
- Wildflower Birthday Designer Series Paper 3-1/4″ x 5
