These templates are found on page 22 of the Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog. This template was so much fun to work with! The use of the Designer Series Paper makes this card easy, quick and stunning! The Designer Series Paper “Country Woods” and can be used in so many ways. I’ve chosen to make 3 cards using a variety of papers from the Country Woods package. I think each one looks fabulous!

Stepped this card up using backgrounds behind the 2 panels of DSP

I have discovered I love the look of layers when it comes to card making. I see others making cards with 2 layers but I love what that extra layer does for the card. That’s why I decided to add an extra layer to this last card specifically. I love how it turned out; what are your thoughts?

Measurements:

  • 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ – card base
    • card 1 was Early Espresso
    • card 2 was Basic White
    • card 3 was Crumb Cake
  • 4″ x 5-1/4″ – bottom panel
    • card 1 was Basic Beige
    • card 2 was Misty Moonlight
    • card 3 was Early Espresso
  • 3-7/8″ x 5-1/8″ next panel, only used on card 3 was DSP
  • 2-3/4″ x 4 – top panel
    • cards 1 & 2 were DSP
    • card 3 was Early Espresso
  • 2-5/8″ x 3-7/8″ top panel above Early Espresso
    • DSP
  • 2 @ 2-3/4″ x 2-3/4″ die cut circles
  • 3/4″ x 2-3/4″ greeting
    • cards 1 & 2 were DSP
    • card 3 was Basic White
  • Scrap of Early Espresso

Quick, easy and stunning! Each card came together quickly once I decided which Designer Series Paper to use. My 3rd and final card has extra layers added. I love the look but it’s not necessary to add the extra layers. So which of the 3 cards is your favorite?
