Need a quick, easy and totally cute gift? Then this project is for you. This is one of the 7 projects made during my Santa’s Workshop class last week. All projects were made with Stampin’ Up! products. This wrapped Hershey Bar is so easy to make. Get your supplies ready and make one along side me.
Supplies Needed:
- 1 Regular size Hershey’s Bar
- 5-1/2″ x 6″ piece of Designer Series Paper (I used Take a Bow)
- 2-1/2″ x 2-1/2″ red or green Glimmer Paper
- 2-1/2″ x 2-1/2″ Early Espresso
- 2″ x 2″ Very Vanilla
- 2″ x 2″ Pecan Pie
- 1/2″ x 3″ Basic White
- Reindeer Fun Stamp Set & Dies
- Spotlight on Nature Dies
Instructions:
- Score the 5-1/2″ x 6″ piece of Designer Series Paper on the 6″ side at 1-1/2″, 1-3/4″, 4″, and 4-1/4″
- Gently fold (pressing too hard can cause the DSP to tear) along the score lines, wrap around the candy bar
- Place Tear & Tape along the inside edge of the DSP, remove the backing and press down to seal
- Die cut all 3 reindeer pieces, the ribbon and the circle of Glimmer Paper
- Adhere the deer together with the Early Espresso on the back, the Very Vanilla on top of the Early Espresso and the Pecan Pie on top of the Very Vanilla
- Using a very small amount of glue, adhere the bow to the neck of the reindeer
- Adhere the reindeer to the die cut, glimmer circle with Dimensionals
- Adhere the glimmer circle to the front of the Hershey Bar with Dimensionals
- Using Real Red Ink, stamp Merry Christmas from the Reindeer Fun stamp set on the 1/2″ x 3″ piece of Basic White card stock
- Trim the greeting as desired
- Adhere the greeting using Mini Dimensionals but only on the right side because the left side is sitting on the glimmer paper
So, which do you like best? The one with the Red Glimmer Paper or the one with the Green Glimmer Paper? So quick easy to make; you could use any Christmas DSP. I love the Reindeer Fun Bundle. It wasn’t on my list at first but I’m so glad I ended up getting it. I have used it for so many projects!
These make great gifts for the mail man, your hair dresser, your manicurist, your child’s teacher, etc. Many great ways to use this small gift! I do hope you’ll try it! More ideas from Santa’s Workshop to come so stay tuned!
