This card using the second Stampin’ Up! template is made with retired DSP to get the measurements correct. Once I have the measurements where I want them, it’s time to make a card with current products. This first card is used with the retired Stampin’ Up! Designer Series Paper, Fresh as a Daisy. See below for card measurements.
This 3rd card has a panel behind the DSP of Balmy Blue. This panel is the size of the original DSP panel, I simply cut my DSP down by 1/4″ on the top and one of the sides. It just adds another pop of color.
The 2 cards using current Stampin’ Up! products could be used as a birthday card for either a male or a female. These cards go together fast once you know the measurements. Any Designer Series Paper, coordinating embellishments and greetings will work. The next picture includes a photo of the inside of the card.
Measurements:
- Card base 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, score at 4-1/4″
- Basic White 2 @ 4″ x 5-1/4″ (one for the inside)
- Panel of DSP 3-1/4″ x 4-1/2″
- Die cut greeting 1″ x 2-1/2″
