This Halloween card is a fast and easy card, especially when using the “Them Bones” Designer Series Paper (DSP) from Stampin’ Up! The DSP provides the background as well as the skeleton and the dog skeleton.
Measurements:
- Basic Black cardstock 4 1/4″ x 11″
- Pumpkin Pie cardstock 4″ x 5 1/4″
- Basic White cardstock 4 1/4″ x 5 1/4″
- DSP “Them Bones” 4″ x 5 1/8″ and 3/4″ x 4″
I cut all the cardstock and DSP to size. I scored the Basic Black cardstock at 5 1/2″. I adhered the 4″ x 5 1/8″ DSP to the Pumpkin Pie cardstock which I then adhered to the Basic Black card front. I then die cut the human skeleton and the dog skeleton from the DSP. You could stamp these and then die cut but I was looking for Fast and Easy! I adhered both of these die cuts to the front of the card with Black Dimensionals. I also die cut a hat from a scrap piece of the DSP and popped it up with Black Dimensionals.
For the inside of the card, I stamped the greeting, “Happy Halloween” in Tuxedo Black Momento Ink. I then adhered the 3/4″ x 4″ piece of DSP to the top of the card. Not one to use waste, I die cut a skeleton from the edge of the DSP and adhered it to the bottom of the inside panel.

Next, I adhered the inside panel to the card base. Then, to the front of the card, I added 3 ghosts from the Glow-In-The-Dark Bats & Ghosts embellishment pack. Voila, card is done! However, I don’t like to send “naked” envelopes so I took another piece of DSP from the pack of “Them Bones” and added it to the flap on the envelope. Now, my card is ready to send.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you’ll give this card a try.
