Template #9 is an easy template to follow. I only used various card stocks, no Designer Series Paper (DSP) to make these cards. The template shows 10 strips so I tried 1/2″ and found they were the perfect size. I cut each of them to 3-1/2″ long.

In the first card, I followed the template without adding anything else. It made for an easy and fast card. The hard part for me was the greeting. I used the stamp set, Humble Home from the September – December Mini Catalog from Stampin’ Up!

The 2nd card follows the first card but I decided to emboss the panel with the 1/2″ strips on it. I really like how it turned out embossed. I used the same greeting but added a bit of ribbon and some Flat Adhesive Backed Pearls to take it up a notch.

This 3rd card uses the retired stamp set, Bag of Bones along with the coordinating dies which were in last years September – December Mini Catalog. I also used the retired “Glow in the Dark” bats for embellishments. The black and white panel is embossed with the Dotted Circles 3D embossing folder which is available from our current Mini Catalog.

I loved the black and orange strips, especially with the So Swirly embossing folder. I used the same stamp set as the previous picture.

These colors scream Halloween to me. I decided not to purchase any Halloween products this year so I’m having to get a bit creative. This card is embossed with the Dashing Designs 3D embossing folder which adds so much to the card base.
Measurements:
- 4-1/4″ x 11″ – card base
- 2-1/4″ x 2-1/4″ – colored circle
- 2 @ 4″ x 5-1/4″ – one for the inside of the card, the other for the front
- 10 @ 1/2″ x 3-1/2″
I love how Stampin’ Up! has all their products so well coordinated. I used each color from the Brights family to create my first 2 cards and all the colors went together so well. Super easy, quick and fun make this a great card for any occasion.
