Participants had the opportunity to make 3D types of projects that could be used for stocking stuffers, Secret Santa gifts, gifts for neighbors, the mail-person, a teacher, a co-worker, etc. People will be thrilled to receive any of these Home Made Christmas Gifts. Participants in the Stampin’ Up! Santa’s Workshop completed 5 projects with an opportunity to purchase more kits to complete on their own time.
Project 1
Project 1 was a covered Hershey’s candy bar. Any Christmas paper could be used for this project and since the Stampin’ Up! products coordinate so nicely, the Christmas Scottie Bundle (stamp set and punch) was used.
Project 2
Project 2 was a covered box of Andes Mints. For this project I used the DSP from our most recent Sale-a-Bration, called Silver & Gold 6″ x 6″ DSP. However, any Christmas paper could be used. A returning favorite stamp set of mine from last year’s Mini Catalog called, Merriest Moments, and coordinating dies were used to stamp and die cut the poinsettia and holly leaves in this project.
Project 3 & 4
Projects 3 & 4 coordinate for your craft room or work space. For these 2 projects, I used the DSP from our Annual Catalog called Textured Chic. Like the other projects, any DSP could be used. I love paper projects that are bright, colorful, and can be used all year long. I’m also an avid bird watcher and was immediately drawn to the Stampin’ Up! bundle, “Sweet Songbirds”.
The note pads were purchase at a local office supply store and they cut the pads in half. I also used the Retired Playful Alphabet Dies. I adhered Foam Adhesive Sheets to the back of the DSP and die cut the date (2023).
Project 5
Project 5 was a box I created to be filled with 6 “crackers” filled with candy. The box was created using Real Red card stock for the bottom of the box and Basic White card stock for the top. I decorated this box using the Merriest Moments Stamp Set, Merriest Moments Hybrid Embossing Folder and the Merriest Frames Dies.
What a great surprise on the inside of this box. There are 6 Cracker & Treat boxes filled with Hershey’s Kisses and Rolo’s. These are made from the Cracker & Treat dies which not only cut but also score where you need to fold. These come together very quickly! This set of dies is a hidden gem in the Annual Catalog.
